There have been several attempts in U.S. History to divide states, although this is Constitutionally very difficult. According to Article 4 of the United States Constitution, there are many obstacles for forming states out of states:
…[N]o new State shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any state be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress.
Despite this, several attempts have been made over the years to divide states, particularly in California. In California alone, there were two attempts in the 1850s and three more attempts in the 1900s to divide the state. However, none of these beat the number of attempts in the 21st century: there were at least five attempts to split it from 2000-2015, and there has now been yet another attempt to split California into two states.¹
There is reason to divide California – for a start, it’s by far the largest state in the United States by population, and, therefore, by electoral vote. Hillary Clinton won 55 electoral votes by winning the state of California. If the state was divided between the smaller west coast (Democratic Party) and the larger Central Valley and eastern sections (Republican Party), the somewhat unfair Democrat advantage wouldn’t be quite such an unfair advantage.
A partition of the State of California was proposed on Monday, January 15, 2018. According to the New California website, most of the State of California (by area) will become part of New California, while the heavily-populated and largely Democratic Party-controlled regions along the coast will remain in California.
The figurehead of the New California movement, Paul Preston, is almost definitely a member of the Broad Right. An article on his website by Katie Grimes stated this:
While California drowns in debt, its public schools are failing and ranked with some of the lowest reading scores in the country, criminals are being let out of prison and jails and crime is spiking, water is cut off to our farmers, illegal aliens and “refugees” are arriving in droves as Democrats are trying to pass legislation making California a sanctuary state, one dam we know of may still blow apart (who knows about the rest…), bridges are falling down, highways are crumbling, and Democrats flout federal election laws by allowing millions of illegals to vote, Jerry and his corrupt Democrats in the statehouse (and feckless Republicans) are introducing bills at lightning speed to add regulations, massive tax increases, more gun control, restricting more freedoms, all while prattling on about climate change and nuclear war.
Of course, this is true. But the question is whether the State New California will be the solution. New California, if it becomes an official state, will include the Democratic Party strongholds of San Diego, Richmond, and parts of the greater Los Angeles urban area. Even if New California was a separate state, it may still vote Democrat in the 2020 Presidential election.
Even before we mention this, however, we must also mention that New California is not even an official state yet. As stated above, it must be approved by state legislatures, along with the U.S. Congress. Would a Democrat-controlled state legislature support anything proposed by a member of the Broad Right? Probably not.
The Mainstream Media has not yet put much emphasis on the proposition of the new state, but if it does, the news coverage will be negative. The Media Class will work against any movement by a member of the Broad Right, so we can assume that this partition attempt will be voted down by America’s de facto highest court, the Media.
We can see the influence of globalist government and the Mainstream Media when comparing the independence of South Ossetia with that of South Sudan.
South Sudan has been accepted by the world in general as an independent country since it declared independence in 2011.² However, the country has been in civil war and wars with the nation of Sudan (which it broke off from) since it declared independence. In fact, despite South Sudan declaring a cease-fire a month ago, sixteen children have died since the cease-fire.
South Ossetia, on the other hand, declared its independence as far back as 1991. In the 2000s, the Russians defeated the Georgians in the Russo-Georgian War, resulting in the temporary Russian occupation of South Ossetia. Since then, Russia has pulled out most of its troops and recognizes South Ossetia as an independent country. But no one else does.
In order to be acceptable to the rest of the country, California would have to be split apart in three sections, with two sections guaranteed to be under the control of whites and the broad right. If the coast wants carte blanche for their liberal societies, that will be the price.
